Celebrating Shared Progress: PIND’s 2024 Annual Report

    By P4P Niger Delta | P4P Resources, Resources | 0 comment | 13 June, 2025 | 0

At Partners for Peace (P4P), we believe in the power of amplifying local voices and building networks that drive sustainable peace. That’s why we are proud to spotlight the work of one of our longstanding partners, the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND), whose 2024 Annual Report captures a year of bold strides toward peace and inclusive development in the region.

PIND’s approach rooted in local ownership and capacity building supported over 1,200 peace actors, resolved 130 community-level conflicts, and convened dialogues that fostered trust and prevented violence. These achievements reflect the type of people-centered peacebuilding that P4P promotes through its own network of self-motivated peace actors.

We are equally encouraged by the development outcomes tied to this peace work: over 101,000 farmers and MSMEs reached, ₦24.66 billion in investment facilitated, and more than 25,000 full-time jobs created across the Niger Delta. It is a powerful reminder that sustainable peace and economic opportunity go hand-in-hand.

We celebrate these achievements because it demonstrates what’s possible when local actors are empowered, connected, and resourced to lead. Together, we are helping to build a thriving, more resilient Niger Delta.
